Dark Horse Massage is a massage studio based in Valrico, FL that specializes in deep tissue massage and muscle reconstruction.
Dark Horse Massage wanted to do a brand reintroduction...and do it big. Dark Horse was selected to be a premier vendor for Florida's Strongest, one of the largest strongman & strongwoman competitions in the United States.
Dark Horse wanted to have media to showcase their capabilities to do large events, as well as capturing this milestone moment for the Dark Horse brand to help spread brand awareness and gain new clients in the athletic and commercial event industries.
This was full event coverage from the ground up. I embedded with the Dark Horse team throughout Florida's Strongest to capture the full scope of what they brought to the competition.
Photography covered the energy of the event floor — athletes mid-lift, the Dark Horse team working on competitors between rounds, and the brand in action in an environment that spoke directly to their target audience. The goal was images that told the story of a brand that belongs in that room.
Videography captured the scale and intensity of the event alongside Dark Horse's role within it. The footage was cut to highlight not just what they do, but the atmosphere they operate in — giving potential clients in the athletic and event industries a visceral sense of what it looks like to have Dark Horse in their corner.
Social Media Content was produced with distribution in mind from the start. Deliverables were formatted and ready for immediate deployment across platforms, giving Dark Horse the ability to roll out their reintroduction with momentum while the event was still fresh in people's minds.
The campaign delivered on every front. Dark Horse walked away from Florida's Strongest with a complete library of professional event coverage — photos, video, and ready-to-post social content that positioned them exactly where they wanted to be: as a serious player in the athletic and commercial event space.
